The state of Minnesota offers the Minnesota Deferred Compensation Program (MNDCP) to eligible employees. This is a voluntary retirement savings plan designed to allow tax savings while you are still working and contributing to your retirement.
MMA has negotiated a $500 employer match to boost your MNDCP retirement savings. However, this is not an automatic deposit and all supervisors who wish to take advantage of this must both a) be enrolled in the deferred compensation plan, and b) manually request the match each year.
This is an important benefit negotiated by MMA for you, and you must complete the request no later than June 7th of each state fiscal year.*
