Message from the Executive Director

Dear MMA Supervisors,

I want to take a moment to recognize and sincerely thank each of you for the strength, dedication, and commitment you bring to our union and to the work you do every day. Our organization is strong because of the people who make up our membership, and I am proud to stand alongside you.

Being part of a union means knowing that we do not face challenges alone. We have a collective voice, a shared purpose, and a responsibility to support and advocate for one another. When we stand together, we strengthen our ability to protect the dignity of our work, advance fairness and opportunity, and build a stronger future for ourselves, our families, and those who will follow us.

There will always be challenges ahead, but those challenges also remind us why solidarity and engagement matter. Every conversation, every contribution, and every member who remains involved strengthens our collective voice and reinforces the important role we play in our communities and our state.

As your Executive Director, I am grateful for your trust and deeply appreciative of the professionalism, resilience, and dedication you demonstrate each day. I encourage us to continue supporting one another, celebrating our accomplishments, and approaching the future with confidence, unity, and determination.

Our strength is in our unity. Our voice is in our membership. And our future is something we build together.

Thank you for everything you do and for being such an important part of this community. We will continue to be a strong and steadfast advocate for you, your profession, and the work you do. Your contributions make a meaningful difference in the lives of the people we serve and help make Minnesota a stronger state.

At MMA, we proudly represent State of Minnesota Supervisors working at Minnesota’s state agencies, colleges, boards and commissions. United, we ensure supervisors have a strong voice to make Minnesota a great place to work and live!
