Dear MMA Supervisors,
As I reflect on 2025 thus far, a lot of CHANGE has happened with Middle Management Association. Regarding the organization, I took over as the Executive Director upon Gary Kloos’s retirement at the end of January. Nick transitioned from the MMA President to a Business Representative in January and Allison came on board in April as our Administrative Assistant.
Other notable changes this year include our new website! A lot of forethought and hard work has gone into creating it and I am hopeful it is more intuitive. Stay tuned for additional modifications as we work toward a better membership experience for you.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who has been a part of our journey this year. Change is difficult but we have PERSEVERED through many challenges, including layoffs, Stillwater prison closure, creation of new agencies, MMA staff and board turnover, all while being a contract negotiations year.
As we move into the last few months of 2025, know we will continue to be a strong advocate for you and truly value the efforts you put forth in making Minnesota, and its citizens, a standard of excellence.
